From 2018 to 2021, Latvia plans on investing about €50 million annually into military infrastructure, the ministry said January 25, reports LETA.
The bulk of the funds will go to the Ādaži military base. In 2018, 60% of investment is to go to that particular military complex.
Likewise, investment is to go to the Lielvārde air base where a new barrack is to be built this year.
